Brief Description of Case:
On 10/15/2025, two individuals (Luke Dime and Benjamin O'driscall) were brought to the LSMC for gunshot wounds. They provided statements to Sr. Ranger Jack Handen that they went to a beach location after receiving a text message from a Sandra Sheebaleebadeebaweebowitz to come to that specific location under the guise of it being a business opportunity. Upon arrival Luke and Benjamin claimed 3 individuals popped out behind of a house and ambushed them and they were shot. They also claimed Sandra Sheebaleebadeebaweebowitz was involved as she was holding a shotgun and was giving directions to the other individuals. Sr. Ranger Jack Handen investigated the scene location and found 3x Shotgun shell casings with a two fingerprints, one coming back to an unknown individual, and another coming back to Bubba Steele.
Mike McKenzie was arrested on 10/18/2025 after admitting that he went down to the beach location and shot Luke Dime and claimed no other individuals were involved and he acted alone. However based on the facts and evidence of the investigation, it is evident others were involved. Based on the investigation, Luke Dime and Benjamin O'driscall went to Burgershot and gloated about hurting an individual named Helga Schmidt who is a friend to Sandra Sheebaleebadeebaweebowitz. The individuals in Burgershot at the time were upset about the statements being made by Luke and Benjamin. Based on statements made so far, it has been stated the following individuals were at Burgershot at the time: Luke Dime, Benjamin O'driscall, Sandra Sheebaleebadeebaweebowitz, Bubba Steele, and Mike McKenzie.
SAPR believes that Mike McKenzie did not act alone and based on his statements provided, he received some type of notification of that Luke and Banjamin are at the beach location and would like to request copies of Mike McKenzie's text and phone records for that day to try and discover who provided him with this information.
