Probable Cause:
The vehicle listed above has been used in consistent crimes, both violent and non-violent, going as far back as April 6th, 2025. The owner of this vehicle, Stu Robinson, uses a license plate cover to cover the plate to avoid it being picked up by the radars. There has been a BOLO put on this vehicle since April 6th, 2025, and it has been found on several crime scenes since then with a plate cover over the license plate. On May 14th, 2025, the vehicle and its driver were caught in a street race. The plate cover was removed from the vehicle, and its plates matched the BOLO (746). It currently has three strikes on it for kidnapping an officer on May 8th, 2025 (CR 28582), street racing on May 14th, 2025 (CR 29792), and an aggravated robbery on May 1st, 2025 (CR 27100). It very clearly is being used in various crimes in such a short window of time, not to mention others that it might have slipped under the radar because of the plate covers.
The State is seeking to seize and remove this vehicle permanently from the owner for the best interest in public safety.
