Deputy Rob was conducting undercover operations at the Banner Motel when he was approached by an individual by the name of Birdie Mayhew.
Deputy Rob and Birdie Mayhem made a verbal agreement to purchase a pistol firearm for 3K. Birdie is a felon with no weapon license. Birdie had no mask on at the time of sale. Birdie took 2500 dollars as a safety, then went inside the banner and came back outside, She then handed me the gun (vintage pistol) and asked for the remaining amount. At this time, I revealed myself as BCSO, and she was taken into custody without incident. She was read her rights and all standard booking practices.
During her arrest she made statements about how shes going to lose 14K and that she was fucked when I revealed I would be raiding her hotel and cars. At this time, I am pushing Sale of weapon charges and believe she has more inside her motel room. I am looking for evidence to push weapons trafficking if evidence is revealed and fits.
