Impeding Traffic - GUILTY - The defense attempted to make an argument that we have no laws against Jaywalking, which is true, but that doesn't mean you can stand in the middle of an intersection. They also tried to make a good argument that there was no traffic to impede, but roads and intersections are intended to be used by traffic, and by standing there, you are impeding that traffic. The same goes for cars and bikes left sitting in the middle of the road, which get ticketed for impeding traffic.
Failing to obey - GUILTY - During the detainment, an officer testified that the man was on his phone giving out their location, which is very suspicious. They asked him to get off his phone, and they had to tell him that a few times before he actually did. Not only that, but a Tow Truck came by at one point, and the defendant got onto it. After telling him multiple times to get off the truck, it started to leave, and then the defendant fell off.
Resisting - GUILTY - After falling off, he was then under arrest for failure to obey. He resisted being put in cuffs twice before the officers succeeded. Thus, he had been resisting arrest.
