State presented overwhelming evidence that Vasquez was found trespassing and participating in petty theft. Mr. Vasquez Counsel attempted to mount an affirmative defense citing a "collection box" on the property allegedly placed there by the owners. None of these claims were able to be substantiated in court and therefore failed to sway the court. No owners were able to be identified by the court.
Vasquez was found guilty on both counts.
