Motion of Summary Judgement
Your Honor, the State respectfully moves for Summary Judgment in this case. After reviewing the evidence provided in the official report, the State believes the facts are clear and indisputable, and that a ruling here would be sufficient without the need for a full trial.
In this case, Miss Kennedy was found in possession of both a landmine and government-issued evidence markers. These items are known to be unlawful to be owned or carried by members of the public, and their presence in her possession strongly supports the conclusion that she was in unlawful possession of both explosive material and official forensic equipment.
Given these facts, the State believes there is no genuine dispute that would require a trial, and we respectfully ask the Court to grant this Motion for Summary Judgment.
