I will be presiding over this case, unless either party has any major conflict requiring rescheduling. This case will proceed tomorrow.

After the State initially failed to appear to this case, AO Mercer and DA Kinsley Murphy arrived prior to a decision by this Court. Given the State and Defense agreed to reverse the initial No Contest plea with the input of Judge Lars, this case was set to be heard. The State requested a Continuance which was denied. After the denial of the Continuance, the State requested 5 minutes to speak with the arresting officer and came back stating that they were dropping all charges against Ms. Hunter and would be reimbursing her for the charge.

During the case, DA Kinsley Murphy recieved 1x Contempt of Court (Fine) for being argumentative with the Court regarding the decision for the Continuance.

Additionally, if this is Ms. Hunter's only felony on her record, her DNA and fingerprints are to be destroyed, in addition to her licenses to be reinstated, and weapons returned to her.
