Reason for Suit: Tort: Negligence, 5th amendment violation
On June 7th, 2025, my client Jimmy Marrow was arrested by Deputy Baron Creed. He had been injured during the chase and was taken to Pillbox Medical for treatment, where he underwent multiple procedures. After completing his medical care, Mr. Marrow was placed in Deputy Creed's Buffalo for transport. He noticed the vehicle was smoking and expressed concern that it might be in a dangerous condition. Despite these warnings, Deputy Creed ignored his concerns and proceeded to drive him away from the hospital.
The vehicle, however, never reached its destination. It exploded with my client inside, causing severe burns across his body and required brain surgery to ensure that a head injury he had sustained was not worsened by the explosion. The plaintiff also takes issue with the fact that, despite my client having suffered grave injuries and being in need of an MRI and brain surgery, he was somehow able to plead guilty to his charges, even though he was never taken to the cells. This is a clear case of negligence and a violation of my clients 5th amendment right to due process on the part of Deputy Creed, causing my client grave pain and suffering and breaching the duty of care owed to him while in the deputy’s custody.
