On the 4th of July, Mr. Quinn and Talon were enjoying a peaceful conversation on the sidewalk entrance into the Diamond Casino parking lot, when suddenly out of nowhere, a teal in color kuruma drove straight through said sidewalk entrance, running over both plaintiffs in a brutal example of extreme carelessness. Mr Talon was struck by the left side of the vehicle (driver's side), while Mr Quinn was struck by the right side of the vehicle (passenger's side).
In pain and shock, veins pulsing with pure adrenaline, Mr Quinn quickly pulled out his cell phone and began documenting the scene. The driver did not identify herself, but thanks to Mr Quinn’s quick thinking and impeccable photography skills, her identity would not remain a mystery for long. Pictured is one of the State’s most famous lawyers, Miss Ash Li, wearing one of her few iconic outfits, accompanied by another bar-certified lawyer, Mr Albert Sanchez. The two then left the scene as Mr Quinn rang 911 to make a report. At that time, the adrenaline was starting to run low, and the injured began to make themselves more and more known. Mr Quinn pulled out his Gov.-issued radio, as he is a medical professional employed at SAMS (and it's required for use of his private pilot's license), and reached out to units on duty, informing them of the emergency. Recognizing the severity of the injuries sustained by Mr Quinn, and their lack in case of Mr Talon, a call was made for Mr Talon to transport Mr Quinn to the pillbox, where medical staff were already preparing to receive the patient and issue medical aid.
Once at the hospital and handed into the medical staff’s capable hands, tests quickly came back with severe results. A moment later, Mr Quinn was in the Operating Room with his life having to be saved due to severe Kidney Lacerations, amongst other injuries sustained.
Along with trauma from the incident, both mental and physical, the injuries sustained by the incident not only caused loss in earnings by Mr Quinn, but more importantly, were the reason an important family visit Mr Quinn was looking forward to had to be cancelled, as his health no longer allowed such…
